Monroe project

Rustic Modern Harmony – Monroe Project
This remodel merges rustic texture and modern design into one cohesive composition. With natural stone fireplaces, rich wood accents, and clean architectural lines, the Monroe home radiates warmth and sophistication. Large windows invite natural light, highlighting every crafted detail and connecting the interior with the surrounding Pacific Northwest landscape.

What Was Done

Primary Bathroom Remodel

A spa-inspired bathroom with a freestanding tub framed by floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the forest. The design features large-format porcelain tile, walnut cabinetry, and a floating vanity with integrated LED mirrors — combining natural tranquility with modern elegance.

Interior Fireplace & Living Space

The living room transformation centers on a custom-built fireplace clad in textured stone and metal accents. High ceilings and expansive glazing bring in natural light, creating a warm yet contemporary gathering space.

Exterior Fireplace & Stonework

The exterior fireplace serves as the focal point of the covered outdoor living area, surrounded by natural stone masonry and a cedar soffit ceiling. This seamless transition between indoors and outdoors enhances comfort and visual continuity year-round.

Our Process

Step 1
Vision & Design. We worked closely with the homeowner to achieve a design that blends natural materials with modern architecture.
Step 2
Structural & Surface Preparation. Old materials were removed, and new framing and waterproofing systems were installed to support premium finishes and durability.
Step 3
Tile, Stone & Wood Installation. Each surface — from stone veneer to porcelain tile — was precisely aligned and installed to highlight natural patterns and textures.
Step 4
Lighting & Detailing. Layered lighting design enhances the warmth of wood, stone, and metal elements, ensuring a balanced and inviting ambiance.
Step 5
Final Completion.
The Monroe Project stands as a reflection of refined craftsmanship — a timeless home that captures the spirit of the Pacific Northwest through modern comfort and natural beauty.
